Based on the memoir of 23-year-old Ernesto Guevara, who would go on to become internationally known as the Marxist guerrilla leader and revolutionary Che Guevara, The Motorcycle Diaries recounts the 1952 expedition, initially by motorcycle, across South America by Guevara and his friend Alberto Granado.
This showing is part of the Tyne Valley Film Festival, in association with the Allendale Village Hall Film Club.
