There’s a lot about Allendale Village Hall that helps to make it the incredibly useful facility that it is. And much of that utility can help to make a party or a reception something to remember!
Allendale Village Hall is fully licensed for the service of alcohol; the hall management run the bar for private parties, while local organisations are provided with the opportunity to run their own bar under the constraints and within the responsibility of the hall license. The management reserve the right to determine the definition of a ‘local organisation’.
The catering kitchen has proved particularly useful in dealing with crowds of 120 to 165 guests, whether at the annual New Year’s Eve ceilidh (served buffet style), the formal Burns Night Supper (fully served tables as indeed for wedding receptions) and local organisation functions.
The hall can provide 25 rectangular tables (2 feet wide by 6 feet long or 0.69m x 1.82m), and 175 chairs for any event.
The floor in the Main Hall is solid oak laid over a springy mat so that dancing is a dream over the entire space. The sound system and lighting and the movable stage can be configured to users’ requirements (there is a small extra fee for use of stage lighting and the sound system).
